Guttering enquiries that fit the jobs your business takes on
A loose downpipe on the next street can fit between booked repairs. A full fascia and soffit renewal needs survey time, materials and a clear access plan. My Guttering Prices brings these different homeowner requests into Leads Do Work, where contractors can select relevant services and a practical area to cover.
Create an account and see what is available
Start with a free contractor account through Leads Do Work. Add your business information and the requested insurance details and references, then set your services and coverage. You can browse available opportunities before deciding whether paid lead access suits your workload.

Choose the work you can assess and deliver
- General gutter repairs: failed supports, poor fall and local damage to otherwise usable runs
- Leak enquiries: tracing drips and overflow, including outlet and discharge checks
- Joint work: identifying compatible unions, clips and seals rather than treating every leak with sealant
- Replacement systems: measuring runs, specifying capacity and organising safe removal and installation
- Downpipes: offsets, hoppers, sockets, shoes and wall fixings, with the drainage scope made clear
- Combined roofline work: fascia and soffit renewal, backing timber assessment and ventilation details
If you undertake only a subset, keep the selections narrow enough to reflect it. Do not treat an enquiry for a shared cast iron stack or suspected asbestos soffit as an ordinary plastic gutter repair. Ask the relevant questions before committing to a survey or method.
Match the lead pack to your follow-up capacity
Packs of 5, 10 or 20 leads provide different volumes of quoting opportunities. Check the live price, availability and account terms before purchasing. A lead count is not a count of booked installations.
- 5 leads: a smaller set to assess alongside existing customers and return visits.
- 10 leads: allow time for a mix of quick repair discussions and replacement surveys.
- 20 leads: plan who will handle each call, survey and written quote if several enquiries arrive close together.
Think about quoting time as well as labour capacity. A few roofline surveys can occupy more of the diary than several simple downpipe enquiries, particularly when you need to arrange scaffold estimates or source a matching period profile.
Set a coverage area that makes sense for small repairs
For a low-value seal replacement, a long round trip can absorb much of the margin. Choose towns and postcodes around routes you can actually attend, allowing for parking and return visits if the first inspection identifies a different fitting. A larger replacement project may justify a wider area, but that should be a deliberate choice.
Availability follows homeowner demand and the services selected. Opening a wider area does not promise a steady number of enquiries, and buying a pack does not reserve a particular type of property.
Make the first call useful
- Confirm the affected elevation and where the water is escaping.
- Ask about storeys, glazed roofs, narrow passages and shared pipework.
- Request a safely taken overview photograph; do not ask the customer to climb up for a part number.
- Explain any survey or call-out charge and whether it is included in later work.
- Offer an appointment you can keep, with weather and access needs taken into account.
Follow the conversation with a short written outline. If a photograph is insufficient to distinguish a blockage from a cracked section, explain what you will inspect before giving a firm repair price. Keep any provisional allowance clearly separate from an agreed quotation.
Quote for the cause and the completion checks
Name the fitting or run you intend to repair, the material you will use and how you will check drainage afterwards. For roofline renewal, set out board removal, ventilation and the process for authorising hidden timber repairs. Include access, disposal and applicable VAT so the customer can compare the scope.
You set your prices and agree the visit, contract and payment directly with the customer. My Guttering Prices does not employ your crew or carry out the work. Each enquiry is an opportunity to discuss and quote, not permission to begin repairs.
Questions before booking
Are guttering enquiries exclusive to my business?
A homeowner enquiry may be shared with up to four suitable contractors. Review the current package terms for how leads are supplied; do not price a pack on an assumption of exclusivity.
Does purchasing a lead guarantee a visit or a job?
No. The homeowner may not respond, may compare other prices or may decide to postpone the work. You are purchasing a quoting opportunity under the account terms.
Which lead pack should a gutter repair business choose?
Choose around the time available to contact customers and quote, as well as the capacity to do the work. The 5, 10 and 20 lead options contain enquiries rather than promised completed jobs.
Put your next quoting opportunity within reach
Create your contractor profile, select the guttering and roofline work you handle, and browse the jobs available around your chosen area. Review the pack terms once you know how those enquiries fit your diary.
